ramblings of a beast

Delivered

The package was listed as “delivered” and that’s what the post office was sticking by. This of course means that the postal worker scanned the item as being delivered. This does not mean that the item was actually delivered or that it remained in whatever place it was delivered to uponst delivery.

She wondered where her package was. It was a box full of sample soaps so she could test out all the “flavors” LostRiverRags had to offer. She was rather disappointed and really wanted to know “where” these things end up. She highly doubted it was stolen from her front porch. She did receive mail that was supposed to be somewhere else often and wondered if they received hers. (Note: she always returned it to the box for re-delivery)

She was curious to know if indeed it was stolen, was the person happy with the soaps?  Or, would the package surface at some later date all melted together? With the weather getting warmer, time was of the essence if it was to be saved.

Needless to say she went back to LostRiverRags and ordered some other soap and a candle…
